Donna Richards and her daughter Shelley Rice co-authored the book, CHRISTMAS TREASURES FROM THE HEART. It outlines the wonderful times they spent with their family because of Donna’s  hard work and service to other people. It took her months and months to plan each activity. Her children and grandchildren look forward each year to the new activity that Grandma will provide for them. They adore this time together, and it means much more to each of them than just a simple giving of cash ever could. Shelly became passionate about putting this book together in a beautiful way in honor of her wonderful mother’s dedication to our family.

They  join with Pamela Goodfellow and other Goodfellow Publishing Services authors in celebration as they release their books. Each of them has been touched in some way by cancer. Together they formed the Writers Unite To Fight Cancer group to increase awareness and help find a cure for this dreadful disease by raising funds for cancer research.  In their own family, a sister-in-law and a dear friend have passed away as victims to breast cancer.  Donna and Shelly are grateful for the opportunity to take part in the GPS book celebration and fund raising benefit for the American Association for Cancer Research. The event will take place on September 25^th, 2010 from 7:00pm to 10:00 pm where they will be launching their book, CHRISTMAS TREASURES FROM THE HEART, alongside seven other authors’ works, and contribute a portion of their sales to the AACR.  They invite you to make a donation to Writers Unite to Fight Cancer on-line.
