STC & WUTC Website Designer Diagnosed with Brain Tumor

Margaret Turley and daughter Serena at WUFC event 2/2/12

Dear Family, Friends and Followers:

Serena Freewomyn, my daughter, is the website designer and social network consultant for Writers Unite to Fight Cancer, this website for Save the Child and Blog where I post articles on cancer, alternative health care, children’s health and welfare issues, parents rights and other related issues. She also designed the Words and Works website with Margaret’s Blog where I do author interviews, book reviews and write other related articles. Updates and details on fundraising efforts for Serena can be found on the Writers Unite to Fight Cancer Website Event Page.

I’m pasting her letter to friends and family below this message. The above picture was taken on the night of February 2nd, 2012 at the Arizona Centennial Cancer Research Fundraiser, 2 nights prior to Serena’s grand mal seizure which led to her hospitalization and diagnosis of a probable Astrocytoma – a cancerous 6 cm brain tumor in her left frontal and temporal lobes.
