Today we had a long virtual visit as she had many questions about decisions she's making in her living will and results from tests.
I did my best to keep a straight face while we were on screen. At one point she cried and covered the camera with her hand. It was all
I could do not to bawl along with her. I did managed to get through the entire conversation and then went to my room and sobbed.

What kind of cancer does your daughter have? You and she are in my prayers.

I can not believe I found a person in my shoes; mother of an adult child with cancer and is a nurse. I wish I could find the level of peace you seem to have; but fear that may never come as our daughters sound very different in nature. I hold strong to my faith and ride the roller coaster. Thank you for your good words, and efforts.
