Three Authors, Johnny “JR” Ringo and AZ Rattlers Raise Money for Cancer Research

The Arizona WOWW Team consisting or co-authors Conrad Storad and Lynda Exley plus their 6 ft. mascot Arizona Mammal - Johnny “JR” Ringo will appear at the A+ Book Fairs Warehouse on 45 N. Sunway in Gilbert AZ, 85233 (map) tomorrow, Saturday December 3rd, 2011 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.  Arizona Way Out West and Wacky , their book sells for $11.95. The authors are donating $2.00 from each book sold st the event to the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).

All creative members of the AZ WOWW have garnered numerous awards in their fields: authors Conrad Storad and Lynda Exley for writing and editing, illustrator Michael Hagelberg for design and illustrations, Linda Radke for publishing and marketing, and curriculum writer Jean Kilker, a former Follett Librarian of the Year.

The ideal Arizona travel companion for kids, AZ WOWW, which was designated an official Arizona Centennial Legacy Project by the Arizona Historical Advisory Commission, also makes a terrific gift from Arizona grandparents to give to their out-of-state grandchildren.

Plus, teachers will be amazed at how AZ WOWW’s entertaining, yet educational format will jumpstart history learning in their classrooms by demonstrating to students just how much fun learning history can really be. AZ WOWW is one history book children will actually WANT to read!

Writers Unite to Fight Cancer Announces Expansion

Margaret Turley, author of Save the Child is the administrator for Writers Unite to Fight Cancer. We invite any other interested authors to join Writers Unite to Fight Cancer. We recently opened the group to any published authors who would like to participate. We hold events from time to time and soon we will have an on-line source to raise money for the American Association for Cancer Research. (AACR)

Announcing a new option for Writers from all over the world: We will soon have on-line capability for participation that will involve a link on your website/s that will point to Writers Unite to Fight Cancer’s back-up non-profit White Lions Foundation website (a 501 (3) (c) public charity that provides nutritional supplements to cancer patients founded by one of our authors  - Lisa Finder who released her first novel Black Sand on November 4th, 2010.  When viewers click on the link money is sent to the AACR, and when customers purchase something from our websites through that link a percentage is designated to go to the AACR.
